Friendly owner, great advice on dining, quiet neighborhood, exceptional breakfast, nice house

Nothing, all great.

Gorgeous garden with hydrangeas and a terrace, perfect for sipping champagne. Rouen is just 45km away, in case I get bored. Continental breakfast of French pastries, cakes, and yogurts to satisfy my refined taste. I can try horse riding, in case I feel like a queen.

Noisy barking dogs, so charming!

The hostess was amazing, so friendly and helpful! She even went out of her way to make sure our little one was fed during dinner. Breakfast was fantastic with homemade treats like crepes and apple fritters. Our room was like a suite, with a huge bath and a massive bed. The location was also great, with easy access to key attractions in the area.

There were no toiletries in the bathroom or cloakroom, which was a bit of an inconvenience. there was nowhere to sit outside as the owners were using all the outdoor furniture.

we recently returned to our favorite b&b in forges-les-eaux for a relaxing getaway. the warm welcome, cozy atmosphere, and homemade breakfast at les chambres du lac exceeded our expectations. the spacious rooms and comfortable beds ensured a restful sleep, and the local restaurants within walking distance were a pleasant convenience.

Lovely family room in a pretty little town. Good location and lovely breakfast. Used as a midstop to Calais - there in under 2 hours the next morning without any issues. The atmosphere was lovely, clean, tidy & homely. A warm welcome was received & immediately we were offered refreshments which were very welcome on an extremely hot day. Secure car park very good. Will definitely revisit & stay longer.

Just 600 meters from the property, we found a charming playground where the kids could run around and have fun. Additionally, there was a beautiful lake just a short walk away, perfect for family picnics and enjoying the serene surroundings.

My wife says that it would have been great if there were more kid-friendly options on the menu.

The rooms at Les Chambres du Lac are seriously cozy and warm, thanks to the heated floors. I felt like I was walking on a cloud! The beds were so comfortable, I slept like a baby every night.

While the common kitchen was a nice touch, I personally didn't use it much.

The shared bathroom lacked a shower and had some issues with the toilet not flushing properly at times.

The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and had comfortable beds with nice linen. The breakfast was amazing, with a generous spread of freshly-made waffles, apple fritters, pancakes, and more. The owner was delightful and made us feel very welcome. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received at this family accommodation enroute to Brittany. The owner made us feel right at home, despite their limited English. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a double bed and two singles, perfect for our family. The private bathroom and toilet added to our convenience. The highlight was definitely the delicious home cooked breakfast, which included a variety of treats like crepes and waffles. we had a great stay and would recommend this place to fellow travelers.
